Lesley & Aaron | Greenville, SC

Lesley & Aaron's backyard wedding outside of Greenville, SC has to be one of our favorites. She and Aaron are like family to us, and we were thrilled & honored to capture the day. The gathering of family & friends around Lesley & Aaron was a beautiful sight. And the backyard setting, complete with a bluegrass ensemble and food trucks, was really down to earth.

Anna & Joel |Chattanooga, TN

Anna & Joel's outdoor wedding at the Waterhouse Pavilion was gorgeous and the perfect way to end our 2014 season! Perfect fall weather welcomed us to downtown Chattanooga for their colorful and intimate outdoor wedding. Everything about their day was beautiful - from the fall foliage, to the decor at their reception, to Anna's dress which her mom made. Yes, you read that correctly - Anna's mom made her dress! Who wouldn't want to walk down the aisle in a gray and lace dress - talk about dreamy.

We are truly thankful that Anna and Joel asked us to be a part of their day. They were such a joy to work with, and were adventurous enough to take photos in a parking garage, which is so cool. We love being able to take unique wedding portraits, so the parking garage was an obvious choice.

Ben & Mary |Fall City, WA

When Joe and I met Ben and Mary over a Google Hangout session, we immediately hit it off and knew we wanted to photograph their picturesque outdoor wedding in Fall City, right on the Snoqualmie River. So you can imagine how delighted we were that they wanted us to come out to Washington all the way from Chattanooga. Of course Ben and Mary were just as sweet and gracious in person as we thought they would, and their wedding was such a joy to witness and capture.

Ben and Mary had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception on a friend's farm, which was the perfect location for their day. We loved being able to take capture gorgeous photos of Ben and Mary, and the love they share for each other. But the day wouldn't have been complete without their family and friends. The love they obviously shared for each person who came was amazing to witness.

Andrey & Irina | Chattanooga, TN

Chattanooga is a very special city to Irina, and since they moved away after the wedding, it only made sense to have their first look and portraits taken at Point Park and Sunset Rock on Lookout Mountain. With beautiful views of the mountains, Chattanooga, and the Tennessee River, what could be a better way to remember a much-loved city!

Their ceremony and reception were at Johnston Woods, which offered a close, intimate venue that was perfect for their wedding. Towards the end of the ceremony clouds began to roll in, and it started raining, which was an unexpected way to end things! But it was a hot and humid afternoon, so the wind and rain felt nice and didn't detract from the beauty of the day.

Andrey, Irina, their friends, and family worked so hard to create the perfect backdrop to their wedding. The decor was amazing, the place settings immaculate, and the food was delicious! Joe and I were so happy they asked us to share such a beautiful day.

Matt & Ginny | Asheville, NC

Selah and I were excited to play Asheville wedding photographers for a day. There's not much I can add to this wedding with a wordy description - the images speak for themselves. It was a gorgeous day for a southern wedding, with the  rolling hills of North Carolina captivating our hearts.

The ceremony took place in the Gaither Chapel on Montreat College's campus, which holds a special place in the hearts of Ginny's family.  The town and college of Montreat have an allure and charm all their own, and the reception was held in urban Asheville at The Venue which added its own unique flare to the day.

Ginny and Matt couldn't have been a more gracious and beautiful couple to photograph. Their love for each other and joy in celebrating such a wonderful day with their family and friends was extraordinary and such a pleasure to capture. Their family and friends only added to the charm  - Selah and I truly loved being a part of their day!

Hilarie & Craig | Salisbury, MD

Joe and I were so thrilled to travel up to the eastern shore of  Maryland to photograph Hilarie & Craig's wedding! The weather that weekend was a little iffy, but the rain and overcast skies actually made the weather perfect for their relaxed, intimate ceremony at Poplar Hill Mansion. The location was perfect. Poplar Hill is a beautiful, classic Eastern Shore house, built in the late 17-early 1800s who's charm perfectly complimented their day. Hilarie & Craig definitely added their personality to the details of their wedding, which made the day so great. Perhaps the most unique detail was Craig's wedding ring. It's made of dinosaur bone and meteorite - how cool is that?

Heather & Michael | Chattanooga, TN

Joe and I had such a wonderful time with Heather and Michael, capturing their wedding photos! They are such a genuine, laid back couple it's impossible not to enjoy their company. Heather got ready at Stone Fort Inn, a beautiful old hotel tucked away in downtown Chattanooga. Their ceremony was at the Little Brown Church on Signal Mountain, which was the perfect location for such an intimate day. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Urban Lawn, which was a great way to end their wedding day. Who can say no to margaritas and tacos?!

Annie & Skyler | Cleveland,TN

Joe and I had such a wonderful time photographing Annie & Skyler's late fall wedding at Black Fox Farms. Their obvious love for each other and their families was such a joy to be around. Black Fox Farms was the perfect venue, we loved having the opportunity to take photos in the greenhouses. Even though it was a little chilly, the sun was shining and it was the perfect afternoon for a wedding. We were so honored to be a part of Annie & Skyler's special day.
